The North East of England's top steelband performing nationally since 1992 at official, corporate and private functions.
Recent credits include: Millennium Dome 2000; National Youth Arts Festival 2000 & 2002; BBC Young Folk Musician of the Year Semi-Final 2001; National Festival of Music for Youth 2003, 2004 & 2005; Schools Prom - Royal Albert Hall 2003.
We play a wide variety of music ranging from traditional caribbean, to pop, classical, jazz and latin. The band consists only of pans and percussion and produces a unique sound.
North Tyneside Steelband can be booked for: Weddings Birthdays; BBQs; Fairs; Corporate Events; Charity/Fundraising Events and Festivals.
We can provide bands of up to 15 players to suit your event.
