The North East of England's top steelband performing nationally since 1992 at official, corporate and private functions.
Recent credits include: Royal Albert Hall Schools Proms 2003 & 2008, National Festival of Music for Youth 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2008, Millennium Dome 2000, National Youth Arts Festival 2000 & 2002 and BBC Young Folk Musician of the Year Semi-Final 2001.
We play a wide variety of music ranging from traditional caribbean, to pop, classical, jazz and latin. The band consists only of pans and percussion and produces a unique sound.
North Tyneside Steelband can be booked for Weddings, Birthdays, BBQs, Fairs, Corporate Events, Charity/Fundraising Events and Festivals.
We can provide bands of up to 15 players to suit your event.
